Hey All
It has been a long time since I’ve done a good old-fashioned mass email. In this world of twitter and facebook it is important to reach out in the good old ways that warm the cockles of hearts. Nothing says I miss you like a mass email, right?

Well I’m working on my summer wedding trips. So far I’m hoping to make it to Chicago/Kalamazoo in September for Rob and Joel’s wedding. Also Fee and Nik are getting married in Denmark giving me an excuse for that long overdue European trip. Let me know if you will be in either of those general locations or events. I’d like to work out a way to meet up.

As always, if you are on the east coast of the United States, I’d love to see you. I have a guest room here in greater Philadelphia, but NYC, DC and points in between are easy commutes for a weekend trip and I’d try my best to meet you.

What have I been up to beyond travel planning, you may ask. Well I’ve found some folks who are interested in community improvement in Upper Darby. I’ve been working to start a farmers’ market and general downtown revitalization organization. As part of that, we are having a naming/branding/logo competition. The contest description is online at http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhtkvcsh_6dbczs6f2&hl=en. I’ll also attach it. Please forward to anyone who may be interested. If you have any suggestions to make on where to get more interest in this, let me know.

While on the topic of donations of time and effort, just a reminder that I am doing the MS 150 bike ride from Cherry Hill to Ocean City in New Jersey again this year. You should join us on the ride. If you don’t want to ride, but want to donate, that is alright, but less fun than an 80 mile bike ride that ends with tilt-a-whirl rides on the boardwalk. You can do either by going to the website here (http://tinyurl.com/dgsq6g).

Okay enough asking you to do things, time to give you the 10 unordered new things since my last mass email (which was unbelievably in August of last year).
1. Rediscovered my love of the beach and went several times (and am excited to do that again).
2. Received a promotion at work that means I’m no longer in transportation and doing something even harder to describe.
3. Found people interested in downtown revitalization in Upper Darby and am starting making it a place that doesn’t inspire disgust among all that hear its name uttered.
4. Became a bit of a hermit due to one part coupliness and an attempt to save money from lack of roommate
5. Rediscovered television (I am very excited for Harpers Island and hope it will inspire me to do a Murder Mystery Party).
6. Broke my camera (hence the lack of new pictures, though I have been trying to label people in my picasa pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/justindula)
7. Went to Montreal in January (where I broke my phone sledding).
8. Bought the google phone (which has made me an even more obnoxious phone user)
9. Went to my first (and only) inaugural ball and now own a tuxedo I need to wear a lot more often (I’m up for any gala event you need accompaniment to).
10. Went on a trip to Atlantic City to see my first professional dancing competition. I plan on going back to AC, and maybe even watching more dance competitions.

There are certainly lots of high and low points missing, but I want to give anyone who wants a more detailed update an in on what to ask about. I try to use these not to annoy my friends but to start more direct contact. I am kind of doing email triage right now, but I will get back to every response eventually (hopefully less than 6 months).

As always, keep me up to date on email, phone number, and address updates (I still intend to write postcards regularly again one day). My info is below, but as most of you know, I’m the most easily reachable person on the interwebs. No matter what the service, you can usually find username justindula there.

Now off to do some last minute cleaning before my parents and brother come. It is hard to believe he is looking at colleges already.
